Google and VAT

Thousands of companies through-out the world now advertise on Google adwords. Google relocated its main office for billing of adwords to Dublin, Ireland. Therefore as of the 1st of July 2003 Google has been charging the Irish VAT rate of 21% on all Google Adword accounts, unless you have taken steps to inform Google of you VAT registration number.
